What’s new in February 2010:

LaVern Stinson is a new addition to Growing Up in the Country – where contributors are encouraged to share the wisdom and experiences of their past. LaVern shares memories of his childhood and growing up with his brother Bud.
Harry Griswold is also featured, who spoke about how electricity came to Waldport, Oregon.

Offerings of Words features a new author’s page: Mia Narayan. Mia is a passionate poet and photographer, and is joined in her life’s work by her husband Lalu. Mia Narayan’s photographs may be seen in her gallery under Visual Art.
The work of Tom Howell continues, and he would appreciate comments as he explores The Question of Evil.

Lloyd Porter has activated Alternative Energy with an article titled Let There be Lights! Check out the great info. We hope to see more from Lloyd as he finds the time. He is also involved with his own community’s web site.

Submissions are welcomed for the many areas of interest under Self Sufficiency. Use the Contact Us page for correspondence. Please, stop in for a visit and share with your neighbors!

Links are updated. New Blog links, new Community links and old links cleaned up.

Memories of Service, sharing letters from soldiers, is added and is an ongoing project to archive the incredible variety of personal experiences from those who have seen war in the past…as well as those who serve in the military today.

Works in progress:
The Utopia Project is a place for visions from individuals who want to create a better world. Please contribute your own!
